Life is dull here in Guangzhou? Looking for some fun while you can learn more about Chinese culture? Then this is what you are looking for – practice GUZHENG.
Zheng, or Gu Zheng, is a Chinese musical instrument with a history of over two thousand years. Unique construction and extraordinary expressive power won for it the title of “Instrument of the Benevolent” in ancient times while nowadays it is also addressed as “Piano of the Eastern World”. It has also been proved to have a great anti-stress effect.
I, your tutor, am an English major who has practised Guzheng for many years. Classes can be given in English/Mandarine/Cantonese according to individual need and Chinese culture knowledge is included during each class.
Classes will be given at the tutor’s place (Guangdong University of Foreign Studies), while other options are open for discussion.
Tutoring fee starts from RMB150/lesson (around USD20), lesson duration 45-50mins.
For more details about the course, please feel free to drop Coco (your tutor) a line for further information.
