Living in Panyu
Posted by Catdawn (208 days ago)
Ok, Everybody just want to give a shout of appreciation for our new home. We recently moved to Panyu to the Hua Nan Country Gardens. And I have never been happier. It is peaceful, more room, convenient, and more affordable than Guangzhou. I just wanted to let the world know about this gem of a place. If anyone wants any more information about location or the like let me know. I just love love love living here. It feels like I am back home in America. Never been happier in China.

Have you met Xue Mei yet? She's in www.gwic.org She has lovely twin daughters and lives in HuaNan Country Gardens, too.
Glad you like Panyu.

I am moving to GZ this July. Can you send me some links about the place like some pictures and google map location?

Just to keep it straight . . there's a couple of places called Country Gardens in Panyu and/or Shunde. Hua Nan Country Gardens is along the expressway, not too far from Jingshen Wellborn furniture mart, 4 Seasons Restaurant, and the Outlet stores. Country Garden in Shunde is where Xue Mei lives. And then I believe there's another Country Garden, also on the expressway (sorry, I don't drive so I don't always pay attention to the road numbers) but it's south of the G105 intersection. I've only been to the one in Shunde, but the one where you're living looks really nice. Clifford buses take a different route into town most of the time now, so I don't go past there much anymore. Welcome to Panyu, though, and for sure, check out GWIC. www.gwic.org

Thanks for being so community spirited Catdawn. It's perfect timing for me. I moved out of my place today and am looking for a move south to Panyu. Problem is, there are now too many estates, and new ones popping up as well. All terribly confusing I'm afraid.
I'll check out Huanan. Which Metro station is it by the way?

As far as I know, the closest Metro is going to be downtown (Shiqao) at Panyu Square, Hua Nan is right on the expressway and the community has buses every 30 minutes that takes you to Shiqao. I still love living here very convenient and friendly. If you need any help let me know!!!
