that bar is already opened. We went there last week end. Some dude was playing live music but the music is way too loud and the old Beatles song blasting loudly in your ears was not the best experience. The menu (especially the prices) seems to be copied from the Paddy Field and the kitchen is not opened yet, so nothing that we can say about the food so far (still kind of hoping for some good burgers as the Strange Brew people seem to be involved into this bar).
The worst part about the whole evening was the kick out and closing procedure at around midnight (or was it earlier)... but then I was kind of glad to be able to go home, rest my ears and hit the sack.
Will be not going there for a while and then come back to check on needed improvements...
It's a really nice pub. Only option in Tian He at the moment. Last time I went their Aussie chef was just getting the menu going. Great fish and chips. They have a kick-ass rock band on Saturday nights. That's about all I can say for now.
I just ate there the other night. Great Guinness pie. My wife had the best Caesar salad she's had in Guangzhou. They said they will have live music Thursday to Saturday. Overall I was impressed.
