Good western style resturants Posted by Celinabees (1003 days ago) Could anyone recommend a variety of places we could try in Guangzhou as it is our first visit, and friends of ours who have returned said the local food was not what they had expected! Posted by busybeeguangzhou (1001 days ago) If you are a bit phobic about chinese food, and not with locals - but still want to try good chinese food - then go to 'The Deluxe' restaurant in the same building as the Warner Brothers Cinemas in Tianhe. Excellent service, and good food/portions. English menu, but prices a bit on the higher end. There is a place where 2 little western style restaurants (actually it's a lane)are. One is named Pizza House..Have a try..it's really fun.. Posted by alberto1 (556 days ago) very soon, in April 2007, the Westin Hotel will be open, in Thianhe area. Westin Hotel will have wester restaurant and bar, such as QBA wich is a Cuba Style Restaurant and bar, with a Cuban Manager; Prego, modern italian restaurant, with live music and brunch every sunday with free champagne included and italian manager (me!!!) don't miss it it will be a lots of fun. |
