Chinese Food Guide

Hi All,

I thought I'd pass this Chinese website on (for those of you who can read) that reviews just about every restaurant in Guangzhou and scores them from 1-30. It's database is also searchable by dish, style, location, etc.

I've been here a year and have been relying on the THAT'S PRD guide, but this is more comprehensive. Although, I have to say that even though the scores for Chinese cuisine are always spot-on, the reviews for Western cuisine are sometimes a little inaccurate. At least to my, gweilo taste buds.

I have seen a few Chinese websites that review every restaurant in Guangzhou. I have only one comment. They are all commercially driven just like this forum. Hope you get what I mean.

In general, I concur. Although, in fairness, this one really is different. At least all the top rated places (and they even cover those old, famous for food but in a crummy old location restaurants in the old GZ areas like XiGuan) I have tried have really been excellent.
