Why Indian Restaurants become more expensive during Canton fair Posted by J99 (633 days ago) I hate this. Why all Indian restaurants become out of reach, expensive during Canton fair. There should be discount for regulars like me. Any suggestions? Or any one knows any Indian Restaurants, who don't increase prices during Canton fair? Even Home made Indian food has become dearer. Posted by new30580 (632 days ago) Why don't you try new Snack counter at bhoomi....It is great....prices are also OK. 4 of us had good amount of Pani Poori, Dosa, Idli, Chaat etc...We paid just RMB 110.. Posted by funcgkw (632 days ago) Why on earth has Sharmaji boosted his price? It isn't exactly like it's a well known place by the visitors who come here for the trade fair. Eveen with it being located near the Dong feng hotel, what business person is going to know about? If I were a regular there, I would feel pretty bad about the price hike. Good thing I prefer Bhandari ;). Posted by new30580 (631 days ago) Sharmaji: It will be unfair to say that he has raised price. Actually due to Fair rush, he has changed style of serving for 15 days. He is now offering about 10 kinds of vegetable or Curries in a buffet kind of set up. Earlier, he used to offer only around 5-6 veg/currier. So he is charging extra, but also giving extra.
